Financial Planning
Juncture Financial Group, LLC offers several different levels of financial planning services including:
Initial Comprehensive Financial Plans
At Juncture Financial Group, we believe that all individuals and families should have a comprehensive financial plan that serves as a foundation and roadmap for all financial activities and decisions. The plan must be a living document that is continually updated throughout life to reflect current goals, objectives, and constraints.
Our initial comprehensive financial plans typically include the following:
- Reviewing and prioritizing your goals and objectives
- Developing a summary of your current financial situation, including a net worth statement, cash flow summary, budget and income tax analysis
- Reviewing your current investment portfolio and developing an asset management strategy
- Developing a financial management strategy, including financial projections and analysis
- Assessing exposure to personal risk and developing a risk management and insurance plan
- Developing a plan for education expenses and/or goal based purchases
- Completing a retirement planning assessment, including financial projections of assets required at estimated retirement date
- Assessing estate net worth and liquidity and developing an estate plan to ensure estate planning and wealth transfer objectives are met
- Identifying tax planning strategies to optimize financial position
- Integrating and prioritizing all strategies outlined above into a comprehensive financial plan
- Presenting a formal written comprehensive plan to you that will contain information, assumptions, analyses, key findings, alternatives, and recommendations designed to assist you in meeting desired goals and objectives. This document will serve as a guide for action plan implementation and will include a high level implementation task list.
We will evaluate your individual needs, circumstances, and objectives when identifying the actual scope of the engagement and certain subject areas may be added or deleted based on mutual agreement. At the beginning of our relationship, we will ask you to sign an Initial Financial Planning Agreement, which will describe the services, fees, financial planning process, responsibilities, and the general conditions of the agreement. Fees for initial comprehensive financial plans are flat flees based on the requested scope, expected time, and complexity of the services.
Ongoing Financial Planning
We offer clients the opportunity to retain ongoing financial planning services after the completion of an initial comprehensive financial plan. These services typically include the following:
- Ongoing advice and counsel on the areas addressed in the initial comprehensive plan which generally includes: cash flow analysis and planning; risk management and insurance planning; education planning; investment planning; tax planning; retirement planning; and estate planning.
- Assistance with developing action plans and implementing the non-investment related recommendations made during the financial planning process. We may provide recommendations on investment strategies and asset allocations for your portfolio as part of the ongoing financial planning process; however, you maintain full responsibility for implementing the recommendations and monitoring your portfolio
- Referral to other professionals, as required, to assist with implementation of the action plans and ongoing coordination with your other professionals such as attorneys, CPAs, insurance agents, and/or other financial advisors
- Monitoring financial performance in relation to the established financial plan
- On-going review and assessment of assumptions incorporated into the financial plan given changes in economic, political and regulatory environment
- Formal periodic checkups (semi-annual or quarterly), as requested by you, to review progress and address any new issues, questions, or concerns consistent with the scope of agreed services
- Telephone and e-mail support throughout the year to address your issues and questions as they arise
- Unlimited advice throughout the year on "basic" financial planning issues. The firm reserves the right to determine whether certain client requests are beyond the scope of the "basic"services. Any additional services or advice that you request, which are beyond the scope of the services listed in this Agreement, will be specifically identified and billed at an hourly rate, consistent with the firm's hourly billing schedule, and will be mutually agreed upon prior to the service being rendered
- Annual review, analysis, and update of your cash flow and net worth statements
- Annual review and update of your written comprehensive financial plan
If you elect to continue with ongoing financial planning services, we will ask you to sign an Ongoing Financial Planning Agreement, which describes the services, fees, process, responsibilities, and the general conditions of the relationship. Ongoing Financial Planning Agreements remain in effect for a period of 12 months and can be automatically renewed. The fee is an annual fixed fee based on the scope, expected time, and complexity of the services required and paid in quarterly installments.
While our ongoing financial planning services are comprehensive, they do not include any asset management or investment advisory services due to their unique nature. These services are available from Juncture Financial Group under a separate Investment Advisory Agreement.
